Current and Future Projects On-going: Conservancy Educational Development Committee Based upon her original Fell Pony Society "Educational and Promotional Program", Laura Hart heads up this committee by continuing her work with the same commitment to proper breed presentation. This is accomplished by utilizing our British breed stewards and scholars as consultants and as our final authority. The committee's first work in this area "THE FELL PONY - a Pony with a Purpose" was published in Horse Sense magazine, and "THE FELL PONY– Conservation in the 21st Century" was published on the Manes and Tails web site. To access these articles, and others like them, please see: www.fellpony.com. DNA study Phase II of the DNA
study is being conducted by Dr. E.
Gus Cothran at the University of Kentucky. Participation
is free. Participants may use foal DNA to meet
Society registration requirements, as well as
choose to share data with the Fell Pony Syndrome

with the recipient parties. Information on how
